Your discard jar is staring at you again.
Judging.
Plotting.
Begging to be transformed into something unhinged and delicious.

Today we honor the goblin gods with:

SOURDOUGH DISCARD CHEESE BREADSTICKS

Ingredients

150 g discard

1 cup flour

½ cup water

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup shredded cheese (the chaotic mix in your fridge is perfect)

Garlic powder

Italian seasoning

Instructions

Mix everything except the cheese into a sticky dough blob.
Knead lightly.
Roll into a rectangle that is absolutely NOT a rectangle.
Sprinkle cheese + seasonings.
Slice into “breadsticks” (use the term loosely).
Bake 400°F for 12–15 minutes until golden and unreasonably tempting.

Perfect for dipping into sauce, soup, or directly into your face.
